Yeast is a known fungus referred to as Candida, which lives on the intestines and the skin. When you can’t eat yeast, you can’t eat sugar. This also includes vinegar, cheese, alcohol, mushrooms, or anything fermented. Even prolonged use of birth control pills, antibiotics, and steroids can contribute to Candida growth.
Now, there are a couple of reference guides you can find in book form or on the internet to help assist you. The books are by Dr. William Crook. The titles are The Yeast Connection and The Yeast Connection and Women’s Health. The websites are by Dr. Richard Podell and Dr. Jacob Teitelbaum.
Hopefully, you’ll find this information to be valuable because the Candida diet hasn’t been fully acknowledged and really needs to be.
