Sugar Free Breakfasts

Everyone knows that at one point, gluten free breakfast used to be difficult. Now, it is actually a piece of cake!

The trouble comes in when you need a sugar free breakfast. Some people may like to bake, but not everyone does. For those individuals, consider the following choices: Erewhon cereals with fresh fruit and an alternative milk like rice, almond, coconut and sunflower, The cereal options are called Rice Twice, Corn Flakes, and Crispy Brown Rice. They are sweetened with honey, brown rice syrup, and simply the natural corn sweetness. Then, you have eggs, which you can cook anyway such as scrambled, sunny side up, over easy, etc…

For those individuals that prefer to do their own baking there are pancakes and biscuits. If you make your very own batter you can sweeten it with apple sauce or any type of fruit, just simply put it in a blender first and stir into your mix. Then, add on some maple syrup!

As for biscuits, if you enjoy a sweet roll with butter, then try agave nectar or a drizzled of honey on top. If you rather a savory bread, simply add some spices like garlic, onion, black pepper, white pepper, paprika, turmeric, rosemary, thyme, parsley, oregano and basil. They will be your best friends!

There are always alternatives to your allergen diet, even for your first meal of the day, which is the most important to jumpstart your body.
